Halil Vurucuoğlu

Halil Vurucuoğlu defines the production process as a mental and physical action that he creates by stacking and cutting layers of painted paper to create three-dimensional works. The visual language of the works focuses on social phenomena, misinformation, the subconscious, and human and personal problems as a combination of materiality and meaning. Combining his imagination and personal experiences, Vurucuoğlu is primarily known for his paper-cut works, but also uses materials such as spray paint. The artist participated in numerous fairs and exhibitions in Europe, his works are in Turkey's best contemporary art collections, and he lives and works in Istanbul.
